How Are Hotel Photography Prices Determined?

Many people are unsure how photography prices are calculated and the effort involved. This is understandable since most people are unfamiliar with the exact workflow. In hotel photography, in particular, the ongoing operations and, above all, the guests must not be disturbed, which requires precise planning.

  1. Planning and organization

  2. Travel costs calculated at € 0.58/km

  3. Setup of equipment, on-site photography, removal of disruptive elements, capturing multiple exposures per scene

    • Due to the variety of room categories or desired daylight conditions, it is often necessary to schedule two days.

  4. Image selection process

    • The captured images are uploaded into editing software, reviewed, and the best ones selected.

    • Customers may also select images via an online gallery.

  5. Editing process

    • This is the most time-consuming part.

    • Hotel images should not be edited in bulk, as they are an essential marketing tool and influence long-term bookings.

  6. Delivery of the final images via download gallery

  7. Usage rights are factored into the pricing
